Margaret (Marti)'s Story
I married Ted Hatfield (class of 1966) in 1968. We have 5 kids all of whom were out of the house at one time, but the 2 youngest are back for now.
Our oldest son is still in California and has a daughter who is 5.
Our next son is in Arkansas working for Wal-Mart and is a loner to the extreme - all he does is work and play video games LOL.
My oldest daughter finally got her Master's in Accounting last year and she is married, living in Canada and presented us with a granddaughter in 2005.
My youngest daughter is a senior at Purdue this year, majoring in Forensic Science with a minor in Sociology. She is engaged to a wonderful man and they plan to marry in 2010.
Our "baby" (boy does he hate to be called that LOL) turned 22 in July and he just moved back in with us tempora...Expand for more
rily after relationship with a girl since high school that produced a beautiful baby girl who is 3 1/2 now.
Two of our granddaughters were born in July 2005 and it was a race to see who would have the baby first. My oldest daughter won by 2 days LOL.
I worked as a bookkeeper most of my life, and as a Convenience Store Manager at the end. I got hurt at work in 1993 and had to have some discs fused, and then surgery again in 1995 to fuse more, so that ended my working.
I advocated for Special Ed kids in CA the last 2 years we were there.
I've gotten into a lot of crafts, and I do a lot of graphics online.
Ted is in Retail Management and we moved to Arkansas in 1997. Then in 2004 he took a position as a store manager for another company, and that brought us to Indiana.
